Meet the Founder

Keecia (rhymes with “Lisa”) James created Lynn James more than a decade ago in 2011 to ensure that nonprofit and philanthropy leaders reflected the diverse communities in which they serve and work. All of her past professional and volunteer roles including serving as President of her local school board for two years, as well as being a Mom to three girls, inspired her to create Lynn James.

Working with mission driven organizations, and connecting them with strong leaders is her passion. When it comes to leading executive searches, she holds experience in nearly every region of the country. Her professional “super powers” include strategy, communications and relationship building. Her professional mission is to help nonprofits successfully hire impactful and courageous leaders.

How We Work
Lynn James intentionally builds deep partnerships with partner organizations. We have weekly conversations about your roles, customizing (when desired) your search to align with your organization’s values, and continuous thought partnership from beginning to end. With the help of our network of subcontractor sourcing support across the United States, we aim to help you hire a great leader and enhance how your organization employs senior-level leaders overall.
Our Mission
